ProtectZyme: A Great New Product Designed for Food Sensitivities
Finally, a comprehensive formula designed to minimize the effects of common food sensitivities from problematic foods. This exciting combination of digestive support compounds helps to reduce the adverse effects from the occasional consumption of gluten, dairy, soy, and egg proteins in individuals who are sensitive to them, as well as to curb the detrimental effects of consuming excessive amounts of starchy foods and sucrose. Obviously the goal is to eliminate these foods from the diet for anyone with sensitivities. However, even under the best circumstances, traveling, dining out and the inevitable meal as a guest someone’s home means that even when individuals with food sensitivities are especially vigilant about avoiding offending foods, they may still be exposed to problematic situations. ProtectZyme is an ideal product to have on hand should you suspect that your problem food might be a part of your next meal.
The two active ingredients in ProtectZyme are Glutalytic and Synetrim CQ, both of which are patented compounds with substantiated beneficial outcomes.
Glutalytic is composed of four specific enzymes that are active over a wide range of pH—2.0-8.0—making it effective in the stomach, duodenum and upper GI tract. Like the name implies, Glutalytic achieves nearly complete degradation of gluten in the stomach and upper GI tract, potentially reducing the symptoms associated with gluten exposure in sensitive individuals. Data from the manufacturer of Glutalytic showed that 10 g of purified gliadin were 99% hydrolyzed within 90 minutes of ingestion, and before it reached the lower GI tract. This is significant as these potentially problematic compounds are completely broken down before arriving at the site of protein absorption, the colon. Glutalytic also improves digestion of proteins in egg, soy, and milk, which are common sensitivities.
The other main ingredient in ProtectZyme, Synetrim CQ, is a concentrated extract of the stems and leaves of a plant in the grape family, Cissus quadrangularis (CQ), also known as veldt grape or devil’s backbone. CQ extract works by inhibiting the enzymes responsible for digesting starches into their sugar components. By inhibiting starch breakdown into glucose and the cleavage of sucrose into glucose and fructose, CQ may reduce the glycemic and insulinogenic impact of starch and sucrose-containing foods. However, Synetrim does not affect the absorption of the glucose and fructose from foods such as fruits/fruit juices.
Synetrim CQ has been shown to help maintain healthy blood glucose already in the normal range. Additionally, CQ has been shown to increase synthesis of our own natural production of opioids and serotonin, which may promote enhanced feelings of emotional well-being, potentially reducing the tendency toward mood-induced overeating,
Recommended Use: Take 2 capsules before a meal that contains gluten, eggs, soy, dairy, starches and/or sugar (in the form of sucrose), or as directed by your physician.
